Okay. Micro.blog. I need to start creating actual posts there. All I’ve been doing is replies. But it would be nice to start posting with the blog’s identity settled. It’s an external element. Not part of my website. So it can’t and shouldn’t be solely about my books. Maybe it shouldn’t be about my books at all. The link to my website can be there, and people who like the blog might follow the link and discover my books, but the blog is something different. Its own beast. That’s it, you know - it must be a separate entity, unrelated to the books. Maybe I shouldn’t even mention them. In such a guise it could be called anything I like. It wouldn’t have to incorporate my author identity. Perhaps I could even use it to explore my identity (cause I’m 67 and still trying to work out what to do with my life).

Good. That’s progress. The blog as a separate entity with its own identity, its own distinct name and purpose. And if it’s something new I could register it through micro.blog - or through Hover which, as another micro.blogger says, offers integration with micro.blog.
