I’m interested in audio. I need to remember this.

Settle the name and domain, and then I can consider the theme.

Okay. Micro.blog. I need to start creating actual posts there. All I’ve been doing is replies. But it would be nice to start posting with the blog’s identity settled. It’s an external element. Not part of my website. So it can’t and shouldn’t be solely about my books. Maybe it shouldn’t be about my books at all. The link to my website can be there, and people who like the blog might follow the link and discover my books, but the blog is something different.

No. They continue. TX2 is running.

7.09am: noises out the window. Thumps. Are the demolishers back? I was just getting comfortable with the quiet. The gate’s still closed. No sign of movement apart from the shade-cloth barrier sighing in the breeze. The thumps are continuing. A scrape. I’ll set up TX2, I think. If the noises stop then nothing lost. Have they stopped?

I want to think about using micro.blog with a custom domain, and how that would work with my website that also has a blog. I could add micro.blog as a sub domain on my website but what would I call it? It would assist in not fragmenting whatever this thing is I’m creating on the internet. Hmm - I could probably tie Buy Me a Coffee into my existing website somehow, and take advantage of the “shop” part of that account where I could sell things.
